If so, Yu-Kuan Lin is hiring a VP of Product Management who can set a bold product vision and roll up their sleeves to build alongside a high‑performing team her at Diligent, #1 market leader in Governance, Risk & Compliance tech and used by 75% of Fortune 500 Boards. You’ll shape the future of our core product—the largest and strategic growth engines of a $7B revenue company—owning multi‑year strategy, AI innovation, and revenue‑tied outcomes. You will additionally be the #1 product leader for 2 business lines – our non-profit & government sector governance solutions. If you have experience being the head of product at a fast-growing growth company or tier 1 tech company, and lead by doing (not just directing), this is your stage to drive impact at executive altitude while still getting hands‑on where it matters.
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):
- Define and execute product strategy driving company-level ARR growth, retention, and market expansion in partnership with C-suite and cross-functional teams
- Build and scale high-performing product organization with clear excellence standards, processes, and OKRs enabling consistent execution and data-driven accountability
- Champion AI-first innovation leading GovernAI adoption to drive platform upgrades, expansion opportunities, and competitive differentiation
- Scale product-led growth strategies including trials, freemium models, and self-service capabilities to accelerate adoption and revenue
- Maintain deep customer empathy through Fortune 500 board engagement, leveraging insights and competitive intelligence to inform product decisions and drive expansion
- Identify and capture new market opportunities within the governance and compliance ecosystem through innovation and strategic GTM partnerships
These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:
- 12+ years product management with 5+ years senior leadership (Director+ level)
- Track record building/scaling successful products in consumer, AI, marketplace, SaaS in either a 1) fast growing start-up OR 2) tier 1 tech company (FAANG or equivalent). Having experience in both is even better.
- Experience leading 15+ person product organizations with high performance stands with talent development success
- Proven winning track record over multiple products or multiple companies.
- Hands on builder – everyone (incl Yu-Kuan) is a builder & vibe coder on our team and we’re looking for kindred spirits.
It would be great if you had these to, but we’ll support you if you don’t:
- Have personally led significant AI/LLM-based product initiatives that drove significant customer adoption (3x+ engagement or expansion metrics)
- Have shipped customer-facing prototypes or products in a past life or as a hobby/side project. Extensive hands-on experience with agentic engineering/vibe coding is highly valued.
- Demonstrated success partnering with C-suite and cross-functional stakeholders to shape company strategy, with examples of driving market expansion and measurable competitive wins
- Former founders or similar role/experience very highly valued.
