About The Role
This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the mailroom operations for a large campus or portfolio. Establishes operating and administrative policies and procedures for all mailroom activities.
What You Will Do
Manages a team in one or more offices; provides direction on employee management (e.g. recruitment of talent, performance management, etc.); makes recommendations on budgets and cost reductions. t of talent, performance management, etc.)
Ensures that mailroom savings goals are met and adhere to approved budgets. Develops operating plans and cost estimates for personnel, equipment, vehicles, services, and supplies.
Develops short and long range plans to upgrade automation, technology and equipment and maintain state-of-the-art operations.
Plans, coordinates, schedules and reviews mail service schedules
Develops training methods for efficient and safe use of equipment and vehicles
Acts as liaison with business leaders, department managers and other internal and external clients to forecast workload demand, project deliverables and resolve any conflicting priorities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

EDUCATION And EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four year college or university preferred. Minimum of 6 years related work experience in warehouse, shipping and receiving. Experience within Mail Services preferred

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS And ABILITIES
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, handheld mobile technologies and applications.
Ability to use computer system to record materials received and shipped.
Physical ability to assist with warehouse operations. Able to lift 50 lbs.
