Hamilton Lane is seeking a Principal-level U.S. Account Execution to lead the operational framework supporting our evergreen fund platform. This role is responsible for overseeing complex global fund structures, managing key operational partners and transfer agency relationships, and ensuring a high-quality experience for investors, distributors, and internal stakeholders across the lifecycle of evergreen products.
The Principal U.S. Account Execution serves as a senior leader within Client Solutions support, partnering closely with Sales, Product, Legal, Compliance, Fund Accounting and Portfolio Management to support existing funds, scale new product launches, and enhance operational readiness across jurisdictions, investor types, and distribution channels.
Your responsibilities will include:
Evergreen fund operations leadership
- Lead the operational management of complex evergreen fund structures, including feeder, master, and holding entities and administrator / transfer agency relationships.
- Oversee the full subscription and redemption operating cycle, including monthly flow reporting and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage operating considerations tied to complex fund provisions and jurisdiction-specific requirements.
- Communicate regularly with the sales team and be comfortable communicating confidently our process and structures internally and externally
- Share industry perspective and offer alternative solutions based on preexisting knowledge of evergreen fund operations
- Work with Evergreen Operations team members around the globe to simplify processes and centralize best practices.
Transfer agency and investor operations
- Own senior-level transfer agency relationship management for evergreen products and ensure effective execution of investor servicing processes.
- Lead investor onboarding and provide operational support to sales teams and distribution partners across the U.S.
- Support onboarding of individual investors and distributors, including large intermediary and platform relationships.
Product launch and strategic initiatives
- Partner with cross-functional teams on new evergreen initiatives, new structures, and product launches, helping translate business strategy into scalable operational processes.
- Support onboarding of new relationship types and operating models, including digital-asset-related counterparties and evolving product capabilities.
- Coordinate operational aspects of key fund events and filings, including prospectus-related work, tender offers, and annual governance processes such as 15c support.
Cross-functional leadership and process improvement
- Act as a central operations partner to Product Development, Legal, Compliance, Fund Accounting, Portfolio Management, Sales, and related teams to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing oversight of evergreen products.
- Identify process improvements, strengthen controls, and build scalable operating models that support growth in the evergreen platform.
- Provide leadership to a U.S. dedicated operations team supporting evergreen products and related investor activity.
Your background will include:
Must-have:
- Exceptional communication skills both internally and externally
- 10+ years of experience in fund operations, transfer agency, investor servicing, and private wealth / alternative investment operations
- Deep understanding of evergreen and interval fund structures, subscription and redemption processes, and distributor / platform onboarding
- Demonstrated ability to operate across complex legal structures, multiple jurisdictions, and third-party service provider relationships
- Existing relationships across the industry with transfer agents, digital platforms, broker dealers and other asset managers.
- Experience leading operational buildouts, process enhancements, and new product launches in a regulated investment environment
Nice-to-have:
- 10 years+ experience supporting private markets products distributed through wealth channels, intermediaries, and global platforms
- Understanding of evergreen fund governance, product documentation, and fund event coordination
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed operational execution in a fast-paced environment
