Established in 1999 with our first high yield fund, Global Credit currently operates 135 active vehicles with more than 200 investment professionals and approximately $194 billion in AUM, as of September 30, 2024.
Carlyle ABF invests primarily in private, directly originated credit instruments and structured equity which is sourced, structured and underwritten in-house. Carlyle ABF leverages Carlyle's 25-year history in structured credit, private asset underwriting, and capital markets capabilities, to deliver tailored asset-backed financing solutions to businesses, specialty finance companies, banks, asset managers, and other originators and owners of assets. Carlyle ABF is experiencing material growth and as of December 31, 2024, has approximately ~$7.5 billion of assets under management.
The Associate will be based in New York, NY and the role will entail evaluating & executing new investment opportunities, portfolio monitoring of existing investments, and designing investment solutions and structures for institutional investors. The Associate will serve as an integral part of the deal team and contribute meaningfully throughout the investment process, including due diligence, engagement with internal and external stakeholders, financial modeling and valuation, and drafting of materials and investment committee memos.
Education & Certificates
* Bachelor's degree required
Knowledge & Experience
* 1 - 3 years of finance experience with exposure to asset finance, corporate credit and structured products
* Prior investment experience or financial institutions group (FIG) / structured credit / securitization / investment banking experience is preferred

* Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills required

Benefits/Compensation
The compensation range for this role is specific to New York, NY, and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications.
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $150,000.
