The Senior Sales Executive, Strategic Partnerships will focus on identifying and closing innovative commercial opportunities with major and emerging technology companies. In this individual contributor role, you will be empowered to develop solutions leveraging Reuters' unique data, content, and insights to solve complex business challenges in the AI era. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across product, technology, and editorial teams to shape partnerships that create meaningful value for both Reuters and our partners. This position also requires account management experience to building long-term relationships with key clients. The growth potential in this space is significant, and therefore this role is highly visible to Executive Leadership at Reuters.
About The Role
As a Senior Sales Executive, Strategic Partnerships, you will:
Prospectively identify and develop new business opportunities with major and emerging technology companies and enterprises, with a particular focus in AI licensing
Own and drive the full sales cycle from initial discovery through proposal development, negotiation, and close
Create innovative commercial solutions by providing offerings from across Reuters' content, data, and technology
Manage account relationships post-close or upon assignment of existing accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for key clients
Serve as a liaison between customers and key internal stakeholders, articulating customer needs and market opportunities to inform product and business strategy
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Product, Technology, Business Development, Marketing, Editorial and Operations to deliver integrated solutions
Work executive stakeholders, to secure approvals and ensure alignment on strategic partnerships with these large companies
Use data and customer insights to monitor progress, forecast pipeline, and take actions to accelerate opportunities
About You
You're a fit for the role of Senior Sales Executive, Strategic Partnerships if your background includes:
7+ years of demonstrated success in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, or B2B Consultative Sales roles
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and drive enterprise contracts to close
Experience working with major technology platform and/or enterprise accounts, particularly those pursuing AI initiatives
Ability to think strategically and creatively to identify and structure unique partnerships
Demonstrated excellence in building cross-functional and strategic relationships both internally and externally
Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts for diverse audiences
Comfort navigating matrix organizations and working collaboratively in team settings to achieve shared goals
Passion for quality journalism

The target total cash compensation range varies across locations.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the target total cash compensation range for this role is $189,000 USD - $351,000 USD.
Pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay and any target sales incentive are part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
Target total cash compensation ranges are inclusive of both base pay and any target sales incentive.
