Role Overview:
The Associate within the TMO (Treasury and Middle Office) Operations team will have the opportunity to support all functions related to trade and repo operations, settlements as well as treasury operations. Treasury and Middle Office teams have historically been separated and were merged earlier in 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help the trade operations team monitor/manage settlements and resolve all trade fails and breaks.
- Direct operational support of Bayview’s repo and liquidity investments desk. This includes monitoring settlements, liaising with counterparties and booking trades in OMS where needed
- Settlement of repos, equity, bonds, mortgage pools and TBA’s, equity swap, interest rate swaps, interest rate futures
- Liaise with PMs/analyst on corporate actions and proxy voting
- Ensuring all collateral and OTC settlement movements are reconciled, affirmed, and processed accordingly at relevant counterparties and within internal systems
- Flash and reconcile daily P&L to senior management
- Assist in maintaining TMO Ops procedure manual and ensure all processes are fully documented and updated
- Create and review electronic payments for several Legal Entities, Funds and Related Accounts (Wires and ACH’s), including payment reject resolution (E-Serve)
- Ensure all payments are processed by approvers/releasers against various bank payment cutoffs
- Back-up Cash Reconciliation, Forecasting, Sub Line/Internal Note Management, Liquidity Targeting & Analysis and Money Market Investment/Redemption
- Ad-Hoc Project Participation and Management: provide analytical support on special projects and business cases to enhance the financial decision-making process
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant work experience in hedge fund operations, investment bank operations, etc.
- Extensive fixed income operations/settlements experience – repo operations experience is a huge plus
- Experience in treasury operations and cash management/liquidity forecasting preferred but not required
- Derivative/FCM/OTC settlement experience helpful but not required
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills. Candidate needs to be highly organized and able to establish/maintain working relationships with internal/external stakeholders
- Strong technology skills- can pick up new systems quickly
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced team environment
- Knowledge of funding and capital markets
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenges with minimal guidance
- A dedication to excellence, a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Advanced in Excel

Location & Compensation:
- This is a hybrid role (3-4 days onsite) based in our New York City office.
- Base compensation is expected to be $110,000-$130,000 with the opportunity for incentive compensation including bonus compensation.
