Role Description This full-time on-site Financial Advisor role is based in Greenvale, NY. The Financial Advisor will meet with clients to understand their goals, analyze their financial situations, and develop tailored strategies for retirement planning, investments, and overall financial well-being. Responsibilities include building and managing a client portfolio, presenting recommendations, monitoring plan performance, and adjusting strategies as client needs or market conditions change. The role involves educating clients on financial options, maintaining accurate records, collaborating with internal teams, and adhering to regulatory and company compliance standards. The advisor is expected to proactively grow their practice through networking, referrals, and community engagement.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory to assess client needs and create comprehensive strategies.
- Knowledge of Finance and Investments to analyze options, manage portfolios, and explain risk and return to clients.
- Expertise in Retirement Planning to design long-term plans, including savings, distribution strategies, and income protection.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities to build trust, explain complex information clearly, and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple client engagements, and meet performance and service goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field preferred; relevant licenses or certifications (such as FINRA registrations, insurance licenses, CFP®) are an advantage.
- Comfort with using financial planning tools, CRM systems, and basic office software, along with a commitment to ethical standards and regulatory compliance.
