Twin Cities Wealth Advisors, a Private Wealth Advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial is
looking for a Financial Planning Paraplanner. We are looking for someone who is
friendly, client and detail-oriented with an exceptional work ethic to be part of our team. Help
conduct the smooth operation of a fast-paced, friendly financial planning office. Work as an
employee of an independent advisor franchisee with a highly client service rated financial
advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial. Assist in daily business operations.
This role will primarily assist Financial Advisors in the financial planning workflow. This
position will consistently follow high standards of business and professional ethics and legal and
regulatory requirements when dealing with others and/or performing work activities. Provide
client relationship support through managing, gathering and analyzing client dates, helping
prepare preliminary financial plans and other client deliverables, working with clients to resolve
issues and other practice management tasks as needed. Responds to ad hoc requests and
coordinates/tracks projects. Opportunity to grow into an Associate Financial Advisor role and more.

Location: Metro Area (Eden Prairie)
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare preliminary financial planning recommendations and initial product solution for advisor review and use in client meetings
- Prepare charts, graphs, tables, and other visual aids to be used in implementation meetings with clients
- Complete client meeting follow-up including executing trades within client accounts, finalizing applications, and preparing summary letters.
- Manage, research and resolve client service questions or issues
- Maintain client contact during the financial planning process.
- Review and update client information, as needed, for client review meetings including client communications and activities
- Manage CRM database
- Follow-up with clients regarding advisor recommendations
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university or higher
- 3+ years paraplanner experience, preferably within Ameriprise Financial
Language Skills:
- Ability to write/type letters to clients, business correspondence, and case notes in a clear, concise and professional manner
Computer Skills:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and the Ameriprise Financial Planning Tool Suite (including NaviPlan and Document Developer)
Registrations and Licenses (already obtained or working towards):
- FINRA Series 7
- FINRA Series 66
- Minnesota insurance license for life, accident and health
