Role Description This is a full-time Paraplanner role based in Hudson, OH, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home. The Paraplanner will support financial advisors by preparing and updating financial plans, gathering and organizing client data, and analyzing clients’ current financial situations. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting investment and product research, preparing reports and presentations, and assisting with the implementation and tracking of recommended strategies. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation in client files, coordinating follow-up activities, and ensuring all work adheres to regulatory and firm compliance requirements. Collaboration with advisors and service teams to deliver a high-quality client experience is central to this position.
Qualifications
- Strong Financial Planning and Finance skills to support the development and review of comprehensive client plans.
- Solid Analytical Skills and experience with investments to evaluate options, model scenarios, and interpret financial data.
- Proficiency in Report Writing to produce clear, accurate, and client-ready presentations and plan documents.
- Relevant education such as a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field.
- Familiarity with financial planning software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team and hybrid environment.
- Progress toward or interest in professional credentials (e.g., CFP®, Series 7/66 or equivalent) is preferred.
