Key Responsibilities

We're looking for somebody to join our ECM team to:
- support the origination and execution of equity and equity-linked transactions, including IPOs, follow-ons, block trades, and convertibles
- work closely with coverage teams to deliver tailored capital markets solutions
- manage day-to-day execution processes, including due diligence, documentation, and investor marketing coordination
- collaborate with ECM syndicate, sales, trading, and research teams throughout the transaction lifecycle
- assist in preparing pitching materials and strategic advisory content for clients
- analyze market dynamics, investor demand, and sector trends to inform deal positioning
The team
You will be part of the Equity Capital Markets team within Global Banking. The team is responsible for managing the syndication, marketing, bookbuilding, allocation and execution process for equity and equity-linked transactions. Working closely with investment bankers, institutional investors and internal stakeholders, the team plays a critical role in delivering capital solutions to corporate and financial sponsor clients.
Your Skills And Experience
- experience within Equity Capital Markets, Investment Banking or Capital Markets.
- develop and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials.
- prepare client presentations, industry analyses, and strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while managing multiple live transactions simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail, risk awareness and commitment to regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree and applicable securities registrations preferred.
- You’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.

Salary information
The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:
- United States - California - San Francisco USD 225000 /annum
The expected salary for this role will be determined by relevant factors which may include but are not limited to, role-required experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level.
