Position Summary
Federated Hermes is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Consultant Business Development - U.S. Offshore/LATAM to lead distribution efforts for our UCITS fund platform and international investment solutions across the U.S. offshore market. This position is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive asset growth through financial advisors, RIAs, private banks, family offices, and international investor channels.
The ideal candidate will combine strong investment knowledge with proven business development success, leveraging deep expertise in offshore investing, cross-border distribution, and relationship management to expand market share and deliver exceptional client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow assets across UCITS funds and international investment solutions. Promote and cross-sell the firm's Separately Managed Account (SMA) offerings where appropriate for non-resident clients.
- Build and strengthen relationships with financial advisors, RIAs, private banks, family offices, and other intermediary partners.
- Deliver client presentations, due diligence meetings, and educational events to drive business development.
- Provide expertise on UCITS products, offshore investing, and cross-border investment opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while identifying market trends and new distribution opportunities.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field required; MBA, CIMA or CFA preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of asset management sales experience, including experience with offshore or international fund distribution required
- Demonstrated track record of raising assets with U.S.-based intermediaries required; Existing relationships with offshore-active advisors and private bankers preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of UCITS funds, offshore structures, and cross-border investing considerations required
- Experience selling active global equity, fixed income, or alternative UCITS strategies and knowledge of Liquidity Funds preferred
- Understanding of LATAM, Caribbean, or international client segments is a plus
- Bilingual English with advanced level Spanish language required. Knowledge of Portuguese considered a plus
- Must posses or immediately obtain FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses
