As an AssistantFacilities Manager
at CBRE, you will play a critical role inensuring the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of a high‑profilepharmaceutical research and manufacturing campus. This complex environmentspans multiple buildings and more than 1.7 million square feet of office,laboratory, and manufacturing space.
In this role,you will lead and support a team of skilled facilities specialists responsiblefor operating and maintaining building systems within tightly controlledoperating parameters. You will oversee preventive maintenance programs,coordinate corrective repairs, and help ensure the continuous performance of awide range of industrial and critical building systems.
Success in thisposition requires strong collaboration and communication, as you will workclosely with the client, vendors, and contractors to manage day‑to‑day buildingoperations and support long‑term facility needs. This role sits withinCBRE’s
Facilities Management function, which focuses onmaximizing asset performance while supporting Property Management on repairs,capital improvements, and investment planning.

What You’llDo
Supervisethe unionized employees to ensure optimum performance.
Coordinate and manage the team's daily activitieswith other departments within the client’s facility.
Establish work schedules, assign tasks, andcross-train staff.
Point of contact for escalated communications between landlord, tenants, and service providers by ensuring all procedures, policies,and reporting formats are understood, and implemented.
Ensurecompliance with all applicable policies, regulations, cGxP procedures,specifications, and documentation practices.
Arrange for regular maintenance of equipment.
Review data from work order reports and create and present performance and progress status reports to management.
Approvework order reports and suggest improvements to efficiency.
Monitorthe team’s performance using objective metrics reported monthly.
Resolve complex problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives.
Proactivelyevaluate current and future services, support and make recommendations forcontinuous improvement.
Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives.
Maintainkey relationships with client.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures.
Work to build consensus.
Performother duties as assigned.
What You’llNeed
High SchoolDiploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5-8 years of job-related experience.In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will beconsidered. Prior shift leader or supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge of
CMMS/SAPsystems and pharmaceutical experience are both a plus.
Valid driver'slicense required.
Indepth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of relatedjob functions required.
Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information.
In-depthknowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Excellent organizational skills witha master- level inquisitive mindset.
- Exceptional math skills. Ability to calculate sophisticated figures such as percentages, discounts, andmarkups.
