Branch Manager – Retail Banking
Location: Greater New York City / North & Central New Jersey
Compensation: $100,000–$125,000+ base + annual incentive
Our client, a well-established regional financial institution, is expanding its retail banking leadership team and is seeking experienced Branch Managers to lead high-performing branches across the Greater NYC and North/Central New Jersey markets.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop branch teams to achieve sales and service goals.
- Drive deposit growth, consumer lending, and business development.
- Coach, mentor, and develop bankers through regular performance management.
- Ensure operational excellence, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance.
- Build relationships within the local community to grow the branch's presence.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience while driving profitability.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of retail banking leadership experience.
- Current or recent Branch Manager, Financial Center Manager, Banking Center Manager, or equivalent.
- Strong background in sales leadership, coaching, operations, and compliance.
- Experience managing branch performance, deposits, lending, and customer relationships.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
