The principal responsibility for the job is to oversee and assist in the fund accounting and client service of our Private Equity fund administration clients. The job will include oversight of the operational work for our PE clients including coordination with work performed in other locations globally, financial statement and other fund admin reporting, client visits, global projects and client integration management.
The Role & Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting and financial operations for assigned client entities, including general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, project accounting, fixed assets, cash management, and tax compliance.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports, including analysis of revenue, earnings, profitability, cash flow, and other key financial metrics.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
- Maintain general and subsidiary ledgers, perform bank reconciliations, and prepare tax-related reports and supporting documentation.
- Establish, implement, and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, procedures, and financial systems to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
- Manage cash flow activities, including monitoring bank account balances, initiating fund transfers, and processing domestic and international wire transactions.
- Review and interpret financial provisions within loan agreements and other financing documents to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Oversee payroll processing for exempt and non-exempt employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payroll regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, financial institutions, auditors, and external stakeholders.
- Supervise, mentor, and support accounting staff, including professional accountants and clerical personnel, through subordinate supervisors where applicable.
- Support audits, regulatory reviews, and tax compliance activities by providing required documentation and financial analysis.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to strengthen financial reporting and operational effectiveness.
- Lead and participate in special projects, strategic initiatives, and ad hoc financial analyses as requested by management.
Skills Required:
- BS/BA in accounting or finance or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years related experience and at least one year in a supervisory position.
- CPA or MBA a plus.
- Knowledge of GAAP and solid accounting, finance and analytical skills.
- Systems and operational skills, including proficiency with Excel and accounting software.
- Written and oral communication, including ability to communicate effectively with non-financial managers and all levels of personnel.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Energetic, flexible team player with the ability to multi-task and juggle multiple shifting priorities. Able to stay organized and focused in a hectic environment.

Salary ranges from USD $115,000.00 – USD $130,000.00 plus additional discretionary yearly bonus based on corporate and individual's performance. Compensation within this range is dependent on individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
