The Role & Key Responsibilities:
Technical:
- Review of Net Asset Valuation (NAV) files for a variety of Real Estate funds, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with fund governing and regulatory procedures
- Review of property level income statement, rent roll, tenancy schedules, and ageing reports
- Review of annual financial statements
- Calculation and processing of fund capital calls and distributions
- Assist in the preparation and completion of the audit process for assigned relationships
Operational:
- Translate strategy into an operational plan for delivery and provide oversight and guidance to ensure organizational leadership and day to day business running
- Work closely with wider CRM and Product team
- Develop and foster key relationships within business / product line and promote an environment of personal development and continuous improvement
- Drive strategic dialogue across operations and businesses to prioritize key initiatives
- Ensuring excellent client service delivery to existing clients and functional products
- Leading client relationships in line with the Operating Model
- Interact with Senior management and clients
- Review procedures and recommend solutions in order to improve efficiencies.
- Ensure adherence to all internal and external audit standards
- Implementation of fund structures onto accounting system
- Review of constitutional documents and preparation of client SLA and budgeting
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance required.
- 6 -10 years of professional experience (A mix of private and audit preferred).
- Minimum 3-6 years of direct Private Equity experience (Hedge Funds do not count as relevant experience).
- CPA Preferred.
- Strong Fund and Partner accounting knowledge.
- Credit funds exposure.
- Portfolio accounting, complex investment structures preferred.
- Supervisory experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly motivated with ability to multitask.
- Special Skills:
- Experience in fund accounting with a focus on private equity experience.
- Knowledge with LPA or other governing documents.
- Experience with waterfall calculations.
- Basic knowledge of Level 3 valuation methodologies.
- Experience with audit process, including internal control and test of details.
- Knowledge of US GAAP with an emphasis on investment partnerships.

Salary ranges from USD $130,000 to USD 140,000. Compensation within this range is dependent on individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
