Position Summary
Carlyle is seeking a senior marketing leader to serve as Head of Integrated Marketing & Campaigns. This principal-level role will be responsible for orchestrating the firm’s global campaign strategy – integrating brand, content, and channel activation to drive measurable impact, engagement, and performance across priority audiences.
This leader will translate firm strategy into cohesive, insight-led marketing programs that elevate Carlyle’s brand, support capital formation, and strengthen stakeholder engagement globally. The role requires deep expertise across brand development, global advertising, media strategy and planning, and multi-channel execution – with a strong understanding of private markets and institutional investor audiences.
In-Office Requirement: 4 days per week
Primary Responsibilities
- Architect and lead integrated marketing programs that directly support fundraising cycles, product launches, as well as LP growth and retention across the firm's global platform.
- Serve as a marketing counterpart to investment teams, with deep command of private markets structures, fund mechanics, and asset class dynamics across credit, equity, infrastructure, and real assets.
- Convert complex investment theses and macroeconomic perspectives into compelling content marketing programs across paid, owned, and earned channels.
- Develop distinct messaging architectures for institutional LP audiences, ensuring alignment with investor type, relationship stage, and fundraising objective.
- Integrate thought leadership, product marketing, and corporate storytelling into cohesive 360° activation strategies tied to the firm's commercial calendar.
- Lead end-to-end campaign execution from ideation through launch and post-campaign analysis, maintaining accountability for timeline, quality, and commercial impact.
- Oversee global media planning and strategy across digital, social, programmatic, partnerships, and emerging platforms.
- Ensure consistent messaging and creative excellence across regions, business segments, and investment strategies.
- Own marketing attribution and performance reporting, with metrics tied to commercial outcomes.
- Implement structured planning, budget management, and reporting processes that provide leadership with a clear view of marketing's contribution to the firm's strategic objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement through data-informed analysis of campaign performance across channels and investor segments.
- Partner closely with Brand, Communications, and Investment teams to align campaign strategy with firm positioning, product priorities, and market timing.
- Manage senior internal stakeholders across investment teams, regional leadership, and global functions — building the credibility and relationships required to influence commercial strategy through marketing.
- Build and manage a high-performing ecosystem of internal teams and external agency partners, ensuring seamless delivery at scale.
Requirements
Education & Certificates
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Concentration in Marketing, Business or a related field preferred
- Master’s or MBA preferred
Professional Experience
- 12+ years of marketing experience, with significant tenure in asset management, private markets, financial services, or a comparably complex institutional B2B environment.
- Demonstrated track record building and leading integrated, multi-channel marketing programs at a global scale, from strategy through execution and commercial impact measurement.
- Deep expertise in media strategy, planning, and performance optimization across paid digital, programmatic, social, search, and premium partnerships, with direct accountability for budget allocation and ROI.
- Proven ability to work directly with investment professionals and senior leadership, translating commercial priorities into marketing strategy with credibility and speed.
- Strong command of marketing technology, data infrastructure, and attribution methodologies relevant to a sophisticated institutional marketing function.

Benefits/Compensation
The compensation range for this role is specific to New York, NY and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications.
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $220,000 to $250,000.

Additionally, the hired professional may also be eligible to participate in an annual discretionary incentive program, the award of which will be dependent on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
