About TheRole
As aCBRE Injury Prevention Specialist, you will assist in the implementationof Environmental, Health, and Safety programs related to a large market area.
This job ispart of the Environment Health and Safety function. They are responsible for injuryprevention and management (first aid) activities to safeguard associates andsurrounding communities.
What You’ll Do
- Developand deliver training programs to educate associates on ergonomic practices andinjury prevention techniques.
- Proactivelyanalyze tasks for potential ergonomic and safety issues, conductingbiomechanical and ergonomic assessments.
- Deliverinitial medical assessment to personnel who sustain workplace injuries or illnessesand evaluate whether escalation to external healthcare providers or emergencyservices is warranted.
- Maintainaccurate recordkeeping.
- Educateassociates on proper movement techniques to prevent soft tissue injuries andoptimize body mechanics.
- Evaluatetrends in soft tissue injuries and develop training initiatives to addressidentified trends.
- Offeraccommodation recommendations related to job placements for associates withmedical restrictions.
- Maintaina regular presence in operational work areas to engage with team members at alllevels, providing real-time coaching and guidance on safe work practices andbehaviors.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
- Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
- Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
PreferredQualifications (Not Required)
- Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association
- First Aid, CPR, AED certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, must obtain within 3 weeks of start date.
- Certification in one of the following: Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM), or Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST).
- Experienceperforming Athletic Training and/or First Aid services in an industrialsetting.
- Experience reviewing data to drive guidance on performance, compliance, concerns, and improvement to external stakeholders.
- Understanding procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
- Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

- Lift up to 49 pounds and frequentlypush, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Stand/walk for up to 12 hoursduring shifts
- Work in an environment where thenoise level varies
- Continuously climb and descendstairs (applies to sites with stairs)
- Maintain effective care delivery inemergencies and assist emergency response at the site
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Injury Prevention Specialist position is $90,000 annually [or $43.26 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Injury Prevention Specialist position is $105,000 annually [or $50.48 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
