
Portfolio Analytics & Support Analyst
Position Description
NEAM has an opening for a Portfolio Analytics
& Support Analyst within our Portfolio Analytics & Support team.
The Analyst will work closely with our Portfolio
Management, Trading and Enterprise Capital Strategy Teams to implement and
support industry models and applications delivered through NEAM’s Capital and
Risk Analytics (CARA®) platform.
Support various ongoing production processes such as valuation, data integrity, rating agency and peer reporting
Analyze systems and processes to
find efficiencies and improve accuracy and timeliness of reporting and
reduce costs.
Work closely within a team of analysts to enable NEAM’s investment business through technology
Support NEAM Clients and NEAM Employees in the training and usage of CARA® platform
Contribute to the design and development of analytical solutions and thought leadership initiatives and publications, addressing industry challenges, and showcasing CARA® capabilities and solutions
Collaborate with team to develop new features for CARA® platform-the risk management platform used to help manage our global assets
Qualifications
We seek an
individual who has the proven ability to work and communicate effectively in a small

This
person must have excellent interpersonal, critical thinking skills, and intellectual
curiosity.

innovative solutions to serve our investment professionals and global insurance
clients.
Degree in Finance, Statistics, or similarly relevant area; Advanced degree a plus
Experience in the financial services industry - Investment Management, Portfolio Management, Capital Markets a plus
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
Adaptable, can adjust priorities to meet fluctuating conditions or needs
Intellectual curiosity and openness to utilize AI-enabled tools to enhance operational efficiency
Strong technical skills accessing and manipulating large data sets using Excel and SQL
Experience with programming languages and analytical packages such as R or Python a plus
CFA designation is desirable but not required
Desire to learn and understand institutional asset management, investment strategies, risk management, fixed income, and equities.
