About The Role
As a CBRE Communications Specialist, you will serve as a primary point of contact for internal communication, stakeholder engagement, and new hire integration. In this role, you will consult with internal partners to develop and deliver high-quality written and visual content while ensuring operational alignment across departments.
This position requires extensive client interaction and the ability to bridge communication gaps between the client, facilities management (FM), safety teams, and internal leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a bridge for communication between facilities management and safety teams to ensure operational continuity.
- Act as a client-facing representative, providing regular updates and facilitating transparent communication between the client and internal teams.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients regarding account statistics, project outcomes, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with management and communication teams to translate project objectives into clear, effective messaging.
- Facilitate meetings with hiring managers to review reporting requirements and account performance.
- Oversee the end-to-end new hire onboarding process, serving as the primary guide for incoming employees.
- Manage equipment provisioning, including ordering laptops, uniforms, and essential onboarding tools.
- Coordinate schedules and requirements across hiring managers, HR, and safety managers.
- Draft, edit, and distribute internal communications, including email memos, newsletters, and presentation decks.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, communication best practices, and innovative delivery techniques.
- Apply standard principles and procedures to solve routine communication challenges and support project execution.
- Compile, analyze, and disseminate operational reports to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Support management with administrative needs and ad hoc project requirements as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
- Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
