What You'll Be Doing
Gen II is developing a comprehensive suite of data solutions designed for institutional investors and fund managers seeking enhanced visibility and analytical capabilities across their private fund portfolios. The product platform comprises three core offerings: Look-through transparency services that provide complete position-level visibility into underlying fund holdings; portfolio management and performance analytics powered by Gen II’s industry-leading Sensr Analytics platform; and benchmarking and market data solutions that enable peer comparison, market trend analysis, and cash flow forecasting across the private asset universe.
Gen II is in a strong competitive position with a large and comprehensive data set of 10,000 funds and $9.7 Trillion of AUM. Asset class coverage will be broad across fund of funds, secondaries, buyout, growth, credit and infrastructure. The data platform leverages cloud-native modern technology.
We are looking for a Client Success Manager, Data Solutions. You will report to the Head of Sales & Relationship Management, ensuring we’re actively engaged with clients, effectively communicating to the internal stakeholders feedback and enhancement requests from clients as well as advising on data and platform enhancements as needed. In addition, as an expert on the application, you will build strong relationships with our clients, ensure they are comfortable with the data and platform and, based on experience provide recommended best practices.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own overall relationship with assigned clients, which includes managing their on-boarding, implementation, training, increasing adoption and value add, ensuring retention, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Establish a trusted and strategic advisor relationship to help drive continued value of our products and services.
- Maintain and develop customer success strategies and best practices, as well as customer support content, while working with other internal teams.
- Communicate effectively with both internal and external senior-level management to understand customer needs, maximize retention and growth, and communicate learnings.
- Maintain existing customer success metrics and data as directed.
- Advising internally on data and platform best practices.
- Utilize Salesforce to track all client interactions with detailed meeting notes.
The Ideal Background
- Bachelor’s degree minimum.
- 5 to 7 years experience in the fintech software industry.
- Experience working on a SaaS solution would be ideal, specifically private equity reporting portals.
- Private Equity knowledge required.
- Experience with implementing large data sets on Saas solutions, familiarity with extracting data.
- Spot inefficiencies in process and identify problems while proposing solutions to increase team efficiency.
- Identify product gaps, communicate client needs and work with the product team, testing on an as needed basis.
- Technical knowledge and business acumen.
- Ability to learn on-the-job quickly, apply learning to recommend solutions to issues.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes in processes and procedures in a rapidly changing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong project management skills.
- Superior problem solving, judgement and decision-making skills.
- Ability to think independently, prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Extensive Microsoft Excel skills.
- Exposure to Claude AI project creations.
The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $170,000, in addition to a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offered within that range will depend on the candidate’s experience level.
Work Arrangement
