Job Description
As the CDAO Metrics Product Manager in CDAO Product & Platforms, you will serve as the architect for metrics strategy and execution. You will partner with Product Managers, Engineering leaders, and Data Owners to define, implement, and govern metrics that align with enterprise priorities and product objectives. Your work will directly improve how CDAO measures success, drives accountability, and enables continuous improvement across the Fusion platform.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive metrics framework that translates business objectives into clear, measurable outcomes for all CDAO Fusion product lines.
- Build, design the standardization of metrics definitions, ensuring consistency, reliability, and business relevance across the platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and align metrics with strategic priorities and regulatory requirements.
- Establish governance processes for metrics lifecycle management, including intake, approval, and periodic review of metrics standards.
- Drive the implementation of metrics platforms and dashboards, ensuring seamless integration with data sources and analytics tools.
- Partner with engineering and data teams to ensure data quality, lineage, and alignment, enabling accurate and timely reporting.
- Champion the adoption of metrics standards and best practices across product teams, providing training and support as needed.
- Deliver executive-ready reporting and insights, enabling leadership to make informed decisions based on transparent and actionable metrics.
- Apply AI methods to metrics, allowing for “chat with data” and other self-service tools
- Apply advanced analytics, automation, and visualization techniques to enhance metrics reporting and operational efficiency.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve metrics coverage, reduce manual effort, and increase the impact of metrics on business outcomes.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- 5–7 years of product management experience building analytical products, metrics platforms, or data-driven tools.
- Demonstrated expertise in metrics design, standardization, and governance, with a track record of delivering business-driven metrics solutions.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, analytics platforms, and dashboarding techniques.
- Proven ability to align data sources, ensure data quality, and drive consistency in metrics reporting.
- Metrics-driven mindset with the ability to define KPIs, interrogate data, and translate insights into business actions.
- High ownership, independence, and persistence, with the ability to drive outcomes in complex, fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills, And Capabilities
- Experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or enterprise analytics.
- Hands-on experience building and scaling metrics platforms in a large, matrixed organization.
- Familiarity with GenAI and automation approaches to enhance metrics reporting and operational workflows.
