We are seeking to add to our Electronic Trading Services team within our wider Execution Services team. This role is where business, technology and interpersonal skills all come together. You will perform critical desk trading functions and contribute to projects and initiatives that continuously enhance our product offerings.
The team interacts closely with our wholesale market making business within Two Sigma Securities. The job offers broad exposure to external clients, various markets, and opportunities to collaborate across Modeling and Engineering teams internally. The candidate must be a proven collaborator with solid client coverage experience.
You Will Take On The Following Responsibilities
- Trade desk coverage is the primary function of this position. It includes client order handling, strategy performance monitoring, book management, surveillance reports review, etc.
- Monitor systems for technical issues or any unusual market condition that warrants manual intervention
- Collaborate with researchers / modelers closely to enhance our performance
- Identify new sales opportunities, onboard new clients, and maintain ongoing relationships
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and roll out system enhancements
- Stay abreast of industry rules and trends to ensure our offering maintains competitive advantage
- Design and generate various reports for client slippage and internal best ex reviews
You Should Possess The Following Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of desk experience covering electronic equity execution by broker-dealers with deep understanding of algorithmic trading and overall market knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal skills with client coverage experience
- Genuine interest and curiosity in systematic trading industry, with a clear motivation to build a career at the intersection of quantitative markets and traditional high-touch sales-trading business
- Strong understanding of regulatory, compliance and middle office operations in Equities
- Ability to perform in a time-sensitive environment
- Proficiency in either SQL or Python is preferred
- Series 7, 63 and 57 licenses required, or to be obtained shortly after joining

The base pay for this role will be between $165,000 and $300,000. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans and 401(k) contributions. Discretionary bonus can be a significant portion of total compensation. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
