Electronic Trading Service & Solutions Specialist
The Electronic Trading Service & Solutions Specialist serves as the primary liaison between the Electronic Trading Desk, Execution Consulting team, Sales Trading, Product Management, and Technology organizations.
The role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the electronic trading platform, troubleshooting trading workflow issues, coordinating technology incidents, supporting OMS/EMS integrations, and assisting execution consultants with client analytics, platform onboarding, and service delivery.
This individual combines strong technical aptitude with a deep understanding of electronic trading workflows and serves as an internal advocate for traders and consultants across the trading floor.
Key Responsibilities
Trading Floor Support
- Serve as first point of contact for electronic trading inquiries and workflow issues.
- Partner directly with traders, execution consultants, and sales traders to resolve platform-related questions.
- Escalate production issues to technology teams and manage resolution through completion.
- Coordinate communication during trading incidents and service disruptions.
Electronic Trading Platform Support
- Support algorithms, Smart Order Router behavior, routing logic, and electronic order workflows.
- Assist with OMS/EMS onboarding and connectivity.
- Coordinate testing for platform enhancements and releases.
- Track execution platform issues and recurring themes.
Technology & Infrastructure Coordination
- Work closely with:

- Ability to communicate effectively with traders, sales traders, execution consultants, product managers, and technology teams.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot trading workflow, connectivity, and platform issues in a time-sensitive environment.
- Python programming and advanced Excel (VBA/macros) skills are a strong plus, with ability to develop automation tools to streamline workflows
- Experience monitoring trading infrastructure, server health, and application performance
