Job Summary
Allvue Systems is seeking a driven and execution-focused Product Manager to join our Credit Product team. This is a high-velocity role designed for a product professional who thrives in fast-paced agile environments and delivers with speed and precision. Reporting to the Head of Product, this individual will lead a lean team of engineers to advance the product vision within Allvue’s flagship credit platform, while managing critical internal and external relationships across clients, engineering, and cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in fixed income markets and investment workflows, with private markets exposure as a strong differentiator. This person must be comfortable operating in a sprint-driven culture where roadmap commitments are met with urgency, and where proactive client engagement and cross-functional collaboration are essential to success.
Responsibilities
Agile Execution & Engineering Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a lean team of engineers in a fast-moving agile environment, driving sprint velocity and ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery.
- Own end-to-end backlog strategy — defining, prioritizing, and sequencing epics, features, and user stories with a bias toward speed and measurable business impact.
- Lead PI planning, sprint planning, and release sequencing to maintain delivery momentum and minimize blockers.
- Manage execution trade-offs decisively within the product domain, balancing quality, scope, and timeline with a focus on throughput.
- Ensure release readiness through proactive coordination with engineering, QA, infrastructure, and design teams.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary product point of contact for a portfolio of credit clients, actively managing and deepening those relationships.
- Participate in client calls and on-site visits to gather requirements, validate functionality, and demonstrate new product capabilities.
- Translate client feedback and pain points into actionable product improvements, ensuring client needs are accurately represented in the roadmap.
- Proactively communicate product updates, upcoming releases, and roadmap direction to clients in a clear and timely manner.
Internal Collaboration & Stakeholder Alignment
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Infrastructure, Customer Experience, and Sales to align on delivery timelines and manage dependencies.
- Serve as the functional authority for the credit domain in planning forums, executive reviews, and cross-team working sessions.
- Collaborate closely with adjacent product teams to align on shared platform components, integration points, and delivery sequencing.
- Present, demo, and document product functionality for both internal stakeholders and external client audiences.
Domain Expertise & Technical Problem Solving
- Apply deep understanding of fixed income investment workflows to inform product decisions, with the ability to contextualize private credit and CLO nuances where applicable.
- Decompose complex, ambiguous business and client requirements into structured, technically feasible, and scalable product solutions.
- Anticipate downstream system and client impacts when making sequencing and design decisions, maintaining platform integrity.
- Resolve workflow and integration challenges in close collaboration with engineering, leveraging platform architecture knowledge.
Impact Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Define success metrics for delivered features and monitor post-release performance to ensure alignment with roadmap objectives.
- Drive iterative improvements based on data, client adoption signals, and qualitative feedback to continuously raise product quality and relevance.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of product management experience within financial technology or investment management software.
- Demonstrated expertise in fixed income markets, instruments, and investment lifecycle workflows (origination, analysis, trading, settlement, and monitoring).
- Proven track record of delivering product in a high-velocity, agile environment — sprint-driven, cross-functional, and execution-oriented.
- Strong client-facing skills with experience managing ongoing client relationships, conducting discovery sessions, and influencing product direction based on client input.
- Demonstrated ability to independently operate with high execution autonomy within a defined product domain.
- Exceptional cross-functional leadership and stakeholder communication capability across technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred
- Experience with private credit, CLO structures, or broader private markets investment workflows.
- Familiarity with alternative investment platform technology and the operational needs of asset managers, CLO managers, or credit funds.
- Experience working directly with engineering teams in a scaled agile or SAFe environment.
Technical Skills
- Backlog & Agile Planning Tools — Advanced (Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent)
- SQL — Intermediate to Advanced
- .NET Application Familiarity — Intermediate (comfort working alongside .NET engineering teams)
Education/Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- MBA or CFA a plus.
What We Offer
- Health Coverage options along with other voluntary benefits
- Enterprise Udemy membership with access to thousands of personal and professional development courses

- Competitive pay and year-end bonus potential
