Your role
UBS is seeking a Experienced Equity, Option & ETF Specialist to:
- serve as the primary resource for advice on all aspects of equity investing for a select group of Ultra High Net Worth Financial Advisors and their clients. This includes communicating macro commentary, portfolio positioning advice and recommendations to UBS WM USA Advisors and clients.
- proactively contribute ideas with the Desk which will shared more broadly with Financial Advisors as well as with colleagues in UGM (trading, sales, PMA), the Investment Bank, CIO, National Sales, etc.
- report directly to the head of the Equity Advisory Desk while working closely with the Head of Options Strategy
- understand clients' needs, anticipate client demands for various products and orchestrate a holistic coverage approach
- build strong relationships including financial advisors and field leaders

Your team
You’ll be working in the Equity Advisory Group (EAG) team in NYC. The specialist will likely cover Midwest and Texas region given its growth profile and team need. The team sits within the Investment Bank division and partners with financial advisors to advise across all aspects of equity investing (equities, options and ETFs).
Your expertise
- a passion with a demonstrated interest in the financial markets.
- good understanding of financial instruments, asset classes, macroeconomic & geopolitical drivers, intermarket relationships, and statistics.
- detail oriented with the ability to communicate findings/recommendations in simple business terms to clients and financial advisors verbally and in writing.
- experience in markets position within a global investment bank or private bank in sales, trading or research
- solid financial analysis skills, with the ability to produce trade ideas, market commentary, and risk assessment
- advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills with ability to work with AI tools
- strong communication skills and ability to multi-task with urgency and precision
- ideally 3+ years of relevant experience
- Series license requirements: 7, 66 or 63

Salary information
The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:
- United States - New York - New York min USD 126250 - max USD 148750 /annum
The expected salary for this role will be determined by relevant factors which may include but are not limited to, role-required experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level.
