We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Financial Planning Assistant to support our financial planning team and help deliver outstanding client experiences.
Position Overview
The Financial Planning Assistant plays a key role in supporting financial advisors by preparing financial planning materials, maintaining client records, and assisting with account and office management. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a passion for financial services, and a desire to grow within the financial planning profession.
Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Administrative Support
- Support the office with answering phones, clerical tasks, account paperwork, and service requests as needed.
Financial Planning Support
- Assist advisors in preparing comprehensive financial plans and recommendations.
- Gather and input financial data into financial planning software.
- Generate reports on investments and other planning areas.
- Conduct basic research on financial products and planning strategies.
- Ensure planning materials are accurate, complete, and professionally presented.
- Assist with transactional items and client account management.
Qualifications
Required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professionalism and discretion with confidential information.
Preferred
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce
- Eager to learn and understand investments, retirement planning, insurance, and wealth management concepts.
