This position is eligible for annual and long-term incentive awards. The annual incentive opportunity is 0 – 60% of salary and is based on the level of achievement against several quantitative and qualitative measures. The long-term incentive program provides an additional opportunity of 0 –60% of base salary beginning after five years and when absolute total fund returns meet or exceed board-approved thresholds.

Our Investment Controls and Operational Risk (ICOR) program is currently seeking an Associate Investment Manager to be responsible for the day-to-day management of performing Operational Due Diligence (ODD) on External Investment Managers across the Investment Asset Classes within the CalPERS Investment Office (INVO) and drive our CalPERS mission.
Duties May Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Manage and perform ODD reviews on potential new external investment managers and on existing external investment managers across all INVO asset classes.
- Develop and enhance external investment manager oversight processes.
- Present ODD report findings to INVO asset class Investment Review Committees.
Telework Information: This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.

This position will run until filled with cutoff dates for review. The first cutoff date is September 6, 2026 followed by every Sunday until filled.
