Role Description
The Retirement Plans Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Salem, OR. This role is responsible for supporting and administering qualified retirement plans, including defined contribution and 403(b) plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing plan documents, processing participant transactions, responding to inquiries from clients and internal partners, preparing reports, and assisting with plan design and implementation. The specialist collaborates with financial advisors and other team members to provide accurate information, resolve issues, and help clients understand their retirement plan options. This role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of retirement plan regulations and best practices to support high-quality client service.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Retirement Planning and Finance to support client-focused recommendations.
- Experience working with Qualified Retirement Plans and Defined Contribution plans, including plan administration and compliance.
- Familiarity with 403(b) Plans, including regulatory requirements and operational processes.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, advisors, and internal teams.
- Attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency with office productivity software and financial tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field; professional designations (e.g., QKA, QPA, CRPS) are a plus.
- Experience in retirement services, financial services, or benefits administration preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
$80,000.00 - $120,000.00
