Job Description
The Responsible Business team, part of U.S. Corporate Citizenship, focuses on the intersection of TD's business with communities, reputation, regulation, and growth. The team understands evolving stakeholder expectations, and pursues opportunities that create value for both communities and the business. Reporting to the Head of Responsible Business, the Manager, Advisory Engagement & Stakeholder Intelligence leads external advisory engagement and stakeholder insight activities. This role manages national and local advisory groups, coordinates executive-level engagements, and builds strong, ongoing relationships with community partners and other external stakeholders. The Manager synthesizes stakeholder feedback into actionable insights that inform business planning, risk management, community impact, and responsible business priorities. The role also maintains governance, documentation, and cross-functional follow-through to support consistent, credible, and responsive engagement.
The Corporate Citizenship Manager manages/leads the development and/or execution of community / environment plans/ programs/ projects/ strategies consistent with TD's enterprise strategies.

- Highly seasoned community/environment professional role requiring substantial knowledge/expertise in a complex field and knowledge of broader related areas

- Interprets internal/external business challenges and the industry environment, recommends courses of action and best practices to improve products, processes, or services

Education & Experience
- Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, designations or equivalent required
- 7+ years relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge of multiple marketing principles and disciplines, strategy development, consulting principles, lines of businesses supported, banking industry and product/customer markets
- Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends
- Knowledge of risk management environment, standards, and regulations
- Knowledge and understanding of process improvement methodologies
- Ability to manage a budget and work within the constraints of that budget
- Ability to contribute to strategic direction of the function and provide advice to senior leadership
- Skill in mentoring, coaching and performance management
- Ability to lead, plan, implement and evaluate program/project activities to ensure completion of initiatives

Customer Accountabilities
- Designs, develops, and executes community/environment solutions to address marketing/business/enterprise needs/plans/strategies and supports a positive customer experience and the Brand, ensuring alignment with internal marketing standards/goals
- Manages, promotes, and delivers assigned programs, activities, events and/or presentations that build awareness and encourage support and grants to community investment initiatives that enhance the TD Brand image
- Designs and produces strategic communications for positioning programs/initiatives while meeting established communication principles (consistent and addresses the audience’s needs and expectations), on-time and on-budget
- Builds strong relationships with key representatives from selected charitable/external organizations, as well as internal business partners and support groups, to ensure required regulatory and legal obligations are met
