Brand Strategy Sr Associate
The Brand Marketing job contributes to the development of marketing initiatives to maximize brand appeal and to ensure customer experience is in line with brand image and strategy. Working independently with limited supervision, this job manages brand marketing projects to conduct and analyze research, identify target customers, and customize marketing messages, media channels and strategies.
Key Responsibilities And Duties
- Researches and assists with the development of marketing strategies to maximize brand appeal for target customers; assists with preparation of recommendations for more senior team members and/or management.
- Compiles and analyzes data on market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to identify market opportunities for the brand.
- Analyzes opinion research to determine perceptions of brands, and to identify opportunities for increased marketing/advertising as well as potential for additional product or service prospects.
- Conducts research to define targeted customer segments and determine the key values that drive buying behavior for each segment.
- Collaborates to develop brand positioning, associated marketing themes, and media channels that align with target customer demographics.
- Drafts brand marketing materials that resonate with targeted customer segments to promote brand appeal.
- Develops knowledge of the organization's products, services, and customers by working closely with more experienced team members.
- Helps coach and delegate work to lower level team members.

Additional Responsibilities
Brand and Advertising
- Assist with marketing campaigns for brand, client, and product initiatives by ensuring assets are created, approved, and delivered on time
- Serve as a liaison between client and product marketing teams, creative, multimedia, web, paid and social media teams, and external agencies
- Work within a workflow tool (Workfront) and with compliance partners to review and approve campaign creative
- Establish an organized system/structure for shared file access across working teams
- Oversee project management across broader brand initiatives
- Manage logo and sponsorship advertising requests across the organization efficiently and in a timely manner
Paid Media
- Maintain a basic understanding of global media plans, with particular attention to US calendars
- Assist in gathering specs and requirements for media placements and help project-manage across client marketing teams, creative, and media agencies to keep launches on track
- Help maintain clear communication with agencies, client marketing, brand, and creative teams on deliverables and deadlines, documenting decisions and asset hand-offs
Social Media
- Assist with integrated campaign coordination, helping ensure channel teams are brought in early
- Help with translating campaign plans into clear channel deliverables, coordinating inputs, assets, and timelines
- Support Workfront trafficking for social deliverables

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort working with cross-functional teams and external partners/agencies

Base Pay Range: $74,400/yr - $95,000/yr
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
