Retaining and recruiting exceptional financial advisors are key drivers of growth for our Private Client Group. We are seeking an accomplished, innovative leader to serve as our Head of National Advisor Recruiting, reporting directly to the President of the Private Client Group. This executive will lead one of the firm's most important growth strategies in support of advisor, asset and revenue growth by driving experienced advisor recruitment through the leadership of Advisor Choice Consulting. The Head of National Advisor Recruiting will shape the future of advisor recruiting, influence enterprise growth strategy, and build lasting competitive advantage.
Job Description
What You Will Do
- Refresh and execute an evolving national recruiting strategy that accelerates advisor, asset, and revenue growth along with leading overall recruiting effectiveness
- Champion disciplined growth by ensuring prospective advisors represent a strong cultural, business and risk fit for the firm
- Lead, inspire, coach and develop an internal team
- Identify market opportunities, competitive trends, and advisor movement patterns
- Partner closely with Business Leaders across the firm including our Advisor affiliation leadership teams and with several key partners including Practice Management and Growth Consulting and Advisor Transitions
- Steer transformational initiatives that modernize recruiting practices, processes and technology
- Bring the power of personal to life by leading sophisticated, consultative conversations with prospective advisors across all channels
What We Are Looking For
- Executive leadership experience in recruiting (with a preference for advisor recruiting experience in the W2, 1099, Bank FA or RIA models), talent acquisition, business development, executive search, sales leadership, or related functions
- Experience across multiple financial advisor models preferred
- Experience leading transformational change within a large, complex organization
- Strong strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making skills
- Experience leveraging data-driven insights to support strategy and execution
- Exceptional relationship-building and executive communication capabilities
- Track record of building, coaching, and developing high-performing teams
