Role Description The Direct Sales Agent is a full-time role responsible for promoting and selling MetLife’s insurance and financial products to individual and institutional customers. Based in Heliopolis in a hybrid arrangement, the role combines on-site client meetings and office activities with some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying prospective customers, conducting needs assessments, presenting product solutions, and guiding customers through the application and onboarding process. The Direct Sales Agent will respond to inquiries, provide ongoing customer service, maintain accurate records using MetLife systems, and meet assigned sales and performance targets. The role also involves following compliance guidelines, participating in training, and collaborating with colleagues to support overall business growth.

- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills to build trust, maintain long-term relationships, and work effectively with diverse customers and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to explain complex information in a simple, customer-friendly manner.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service capabilities to handle inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive customer experience before and after the sale.
- Candidates should possess foundational Finance knowledge to understand insurance and financial products, interpret basic financial information, and support customers in making informed decisions.
- Candidates should possess proven Sales skills, including prospecting, consultative selling, negotiation, and closing, with the ability to meet or exceed measurable targets.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field are beneficial; prior experience in insurance, banking, or financial services sales is an advantage.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency in CRM or sales management tools, strong organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment based in Heliopolis.
