Role Description This is a full-time Life Insurance Agent role based in Cairo, Egypt, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows a mix of on-site and work-from-home days. The Life Insurance Agent will identify and engage prospective individual and institutional clients, understand their financial needs and protection goals, and recommend suitable life insurance solutions aligned with MetLife Investment Management’s offerings. Daily responsibilities include conducting client meetings, explaining policy features and benefits, preparing proposals and illustrations, and supporting clients throughout the application, underwriting, and policy issuance process. The role also involves maintaining ongoing client relationships, providing policy reviews, handling inquiries and service requests, and collaborating with internal teams such as underwriting, operations, and compliance. The Life Insurance Agent will be expected to meet sales targets, keep accurate records in CRM systems, stay informed about industry trends and regulations, and participate in training and professional development activities.
Qualifications
- Strong life Insurance knowledge, including products, policy structures, and regulatory considerations.
- Proven experience in Insurance Sales and/or Insurance Brokerage, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Solid understanding of Finance, financial planning concepts, and risk management to align solutions with client objectives.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and a consultative approach.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships in a professional and ethical manner.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accurate documentation.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, collaborating both in person and virtually with colleagues and clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant insurance licensing or certifications (where applicable) and willingness to complete additional training as required.
- Proficiency in common office and CRM software; strong verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
