Position Summary
The Financial Analyst will primarily be focused on the rates and pricing function, as well as lend support to other areas within Practice Analysis
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support the annual rate arrangement process, via the consolidation and distribution of historical data (time value, hours, billings, etc.), sensitivity analysis, and monitoring of deadlines.
- Compile historical client, matter, and practice group performance to help support pricing decisions and profitability assessments.
- Collaborate with partners, business development and accounting to support client and pricing initiatives.
- Utilize Oracle and other financial reporting tools to extract data and prepare financial reports.
- Provide analysis on financial performance, utilization, realization, leverage, profitability, and other KPIs.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the pricing and related financial analysis capabilities.
- Identify opportunities to automate and standardize recurring pricing analysis and reporting using Excel and other analytical tools (Tableau), reducing manual workflow and creating efficiencies.
- Various ad-hoc projects.
Qualifications/Position Requirements
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable managing large data sets.
- Knowledge of Oracle and Smartview a plus.
Education And/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business-related field.
- 1-3 years of public or private experience in a similar capacity (Accounting or FP&A)
Compensation
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $78,000.00 - $85,000.00. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
