About the Role:
This role delivers structured technology advisory engagements for large enterprise occupiers across the full CRE technology stack — from diagnostic through selection and into implementation oversight. The advisor is the primary client-facing resource on engagements, responsible for current-state discovery, requirements development, vendor evaluation, and final recommendations. They work across people, process, and technology dimensions, and must be equally credible in a stakeholder workshop with a lease accounting team and in a technical integration discussion with a client's IT organization..
What You’ll Do:
* Lead end-to-end technology advisory engagements for enterprise occupier clients, including current-state diagnostics, maturity assessments, requirements traceability, vendor shortlisting, RFP/RFI management, demonstration facilitation, and final selection recommendations.
* Conduct structured stakeholder interviews and workshops to extract must-have vs. nice-to-have requirements, surface pain points, identify shadow systems, and document where skills exist but are misaligned or where gaps are present.
* Develop and deliver high-quality advisory artifacts: Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs), functional gap analyses, technical stack maps, vendor scorecards, demo scripts, maturity assessments, and executive-ready recommendation decks.
* Operate fluently across six functional workstreams: Occupancy and Space Management, Lease Administration and Lease Accounting, Transaction Management, Facilities and Maintenance (CMMS/IWMS), Capital Projects, Smart Buildings and sensor strategy, and emerging AI applications in CRE.
* Assess current-state technology, data, and process maturity across the CRE portfolio — including what is working, what is not, where data integrity issues exist, and where the absence of a source of truth is driving operational risk.
* Map data flows between CRE systems and adjacent enterprise platforms (HR, Finance, ERP, IT) to identify integration gaps and dependencies.
* Evaluate organizational readiness: where capability exists, where it is misplaced, and where skill gaps require remediation before technology investment can succeed.
* Market Intelligence & Vendor Management
* Maintain current knowledge of the CRE technology vendor landscape across IWMS, CAFM, CMMS, lease administration, lease accounting, transaction management, smart building, and AI platforms.
* Conduct vendor pre-qualification against client technical and security requirements; manage RFP/RFI processes including Q&A, submission management, and response leveling.
* Facilitate structured vendor demonstrations using day-in-the-life scenarios mapped to documented requirements; produce scored evaluation outputs and recommendation rationale.
* Contribute to proposals, scoping, and fee estimation for new advisory engagements; participate in client presentations and pursuit activities.
* Collaborate with internal lines of business — including Brokerage, Project Management, Facilities Management, and GWS account teams — to identify cross-marketing opportunities and deliver integrated client solutions.
* Support knowledge transfer within the advisory practice: contribute reusable frameworks, templates, and market intelligence that raise team-wide delivery quality.
* Ensure engagement delivery adheres to CBRE quality, confidentiality, and compliance standards, including fee-sharing policies, subcontractor requirements, and licensing obligations where applicable.
* Model CBRE RISE values; mentor junior team members through active engagement on shared deliverables.
