Role Description The Insurance Sales Specialist is a full-time role based in Cairo, Egypt, with a hybrid work arrangement that combines on-site presence and work-from-home flexibility. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing insurance sales opportunities, advising clients on suitable insurance products, and supporting institutional and individual clients through the full sales cycle. Day-to-day tasks include conducting needs assessments, preparing tailored proposals, coordinating with internal teams and brokers, and ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with relevant regulations. The Insurance Sales Specialist will also maintain ongoing relationships with clients, provide responsive customer service, and contribute to sales forecasts and performance reporting to support the broader MetLife Investment Management business.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Insurance Sales with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Solid understanding of Insurance products and market dynamics, including risk and regulatory considerations.
- Experience in Insurance Brokerage, including working with intermediaries to structure and place insurance solutions.
- Background in Health Insurance, with the ability to explain benefits, coverage options, and policy terms clearly.
- Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to build trust, handle inquiries, and resolve issues professionally.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, both written and verbal, in English; Arabic proficiency is highly beneficial.
- Analytical mindset with competency using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and reporting systems to manage pipelines and client data.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Insurance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven ability to work in a hybrid environment, managing time effectively and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant professional certifications in insurance or financial services are an advantage.
