Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Analyst to join our Hedge Fund Investment Due Diligence team, with a focus on Multi-Strategies. As an Associate Analyst, you will provide support for manager selection, investment due diligence and strategy analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Investment Due Diligence:
- Conduct initial screening and evaluation of Multi-Strategy hedge fund managers
- Participate in due diligence meetings with investment managers
- Perform quantitative performance analysis and qualitative assessments
- Prepare detailed meeting notes and contribute to comprehensive due diligence reports
- Support ongoing monitoring of approved managers to ensure research accuracy and relevance
- Help foster relationships between the firm, clients, and investment managers to enhance access and insight
Strategy Research & Analysis:
- Contribute to strategy outlooks and forecasting for assigned strategy
- Assist in developing and maintaining industry and asset class research
- Analyze market trends, risk factors, and return drivers across the hedge fund landscape
- Identify opportunities to enhance analytical frameworks, tools, and methodologies
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update internal research database
- Support client deliverables, including portfolio construction and client presentations
- Contribute to business development efforts, including marketing materials and client proposals
- Communicate with clients as required
- Undertake ad hoc research and analytical projects as required
Requirements:
- 1 - 3 years’ experience in investment research, due diligence, or a related field (hedge fund knowledge preferred)
- Strong understanding of financial markets
- Knowledge of Multi-Strategy hedge funds preferred
- Progress towards or completion of professional qualifications (e.g. CFA, CAIA)
- Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Bloomberg or similar platforms
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, proactive, and collaborative with strong interpersonal skills

Job Pay Transparency: $85,000 to $100,000/year
